Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Task & Event Tracker (the "App") — available on iOS and at task-tracker.net
Effective date: 3 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the individual developer based in Poland who operates the App ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The service

The App lets you keep tasks, checklists, reminders, a calendar, a timer, countdown events, and — optionally — connect an AI assistant to your data through the Model Context Protocol. The App is provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send you. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure and for everything that happens under your account. One person, one account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if it is higher (16 in Poland and in most of the EU).

3. Your content

Everything you put into the App stays yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only the permission we need to store it, back it up, show it to you on your devices, send you the reminders you set, and — if you connect one — pass it to the AI assistant you chose.
You are responsible for your content. Do not use the App to store anything illegal or anything you do not have the right to store.

4. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other users' data, to probe, overload or disrupt the service, to reverse engineer the App beyond what the law allows, or to use the App in a way that breaks any law. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

5. AI assistants

Connecting an AI assistant is optional and done with a personal access token you create in Settings. That assistant acts on your instructions and on your behalf. We are not responsible for what an assistant does with your data or for the assistant provider's terms and privacy practices. Keep your token private; anyone who has it can read and change your tasks. You can revoke it at any time.

6. Reminders and notifications

Reminders depend on your device, your notification settings, Apple's and Expo's push services, and network availability. We do our best to deliver them on time, but we cannot guarantee delivery. Do not rely on the App alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm.

7. Availability and changes

The App is offered "as is" and "as available". We may update it, including automatically over the air, and we may take it down for maintenance or discontinue it. If we discontinue the service, we will try to give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

8. Ending the agreement

You can end it at any time by deleting your account in Settings; your data is removed immediately. We may end it if you break these terms, with notice where practical.

9. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, we provide the App without warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will update the date above and let you know inside the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
